Filming Angels

Hi all, we've just wrapped up a weekend prophetic retreat.  House full of girls for 3 days. Par-Tay!  We had a lot of angelic activity while we were all together so I was having fun videoing with my phone.  We have a lot on camera.  Most of it is sorta personal but I do have this clip to share of Del playing the keyboard.  You're looking for little orbs whizzing around the room.  There are a few in the beginning and then bigger and better around the 4 minute mark onward (I think).  (Vid is less than 7 mins.)

If you have your doubts I suggest you film your own.  I take lots of supernatural photos, it's not that hard.  You do usually need to have digital equipment.  Perry Stone gave an explanation of why digital picks up the spirit realm but I can't remember what he said.  There is nothing like having pictures and video that you shot, that you know is not a fake.

Just because you see orbs, don't automatically assume angels.  I can take as many orb photos at a new age shop as I can church.  Recently we were up at the headwaters of the Sacramento river and a friend was taking pictures with spectacular orb shots.  I know that we had protection there, but based on the feeling and influences, I would not assume they were entirely angelic beings.

Easter Crosses

These were taken in sequence during Wed night worship. We didn't see the cross with our eyes, but we've been taking pictures randomly cause cool stuff shows up on camera.

Did ya notice the color change?  We took a whole bunch of photos, every other one is purple.
The really bright part at the bottom of the cross is a coffee maker light.

Another cross over a menorah.

More and more photos like these are surfacing.  I don't know if God is just getting more and more in-your-face about things and revealing His glory, or if it's that we're catching on to the idea that this stuff can be photographed, or if it's due to the cameras in phones just being so handy.  I know we've started keeping a camera handy and that's why we have these photos.  Get some worship going in your house and start taking your own!  Or if you know me personally, you're welcome to come to our meetings with your camera, but I'm gonna want copies of whatever you get!

Hospital Visitors

My friend had a little problem the other day which entitled her to a hospital visit.  We all prayed of course and I was/am sure that she's fine, but they wanted to keep her overnight in the hospital.  Drag.  Some mutual friends had prayed for an angelic visitation for her since she had to be in there and she wound up seeing three angels.  She saw them as orbs.  The nurses wanted to know what "those lights" were.

God is so fun!  Are you guys getting that this should be normal Christianity?  Remember in Acts when they were having a prayer meeting for Peter because he was in jail and then he was outside beating on the door to get in but they said  "Oh no, that can't be Peter, it's just his angel?"  It was easier for them to believe that they were seeing an angel that looked like Peter than actual Peter.  Seeing angels must have been pretty run of the mill, at least in the prayer and worship setting.

Also, you might notice that my friends asked God to send angels to her.  This subject keeps coming up amongst people I talk to.  The idea of whether we can, or should command angels.  Most people are very uneasy with the idea, some say we can, and one guy said he has no problem with it as long as what he is saying lines up with scripture. Whatever that means.   This whole idea of commanding angels had never even occurred to me.  It's not something I would think to do in a crisis.  I know who my source is.

I just have not found this in scripture.  I gotta say that Jesus is perfect theology.  He is our example in all things.  Jesus said "Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father and He will at once put at my disposal more than 12 legions of angels?" Matt 26:53.  Jesus would've asked for angelic help.  Based on that I don't think I would be bossing my angel around.  We know that we have authority over the bad angels (demons) so I can see where this idea comes from.   I also think that God gives us a lot of grace where we don't know any better, so don't worry.  Overstepping is probably better than under utilizing your authority.  Just my two cents.

Adventures in Prophetic Evangelism

(Preface:  I am new at this!)

I'm learning to use my senses in the spirit realm and some senses work better than others for me.  I see some, but don't always believe my eyes, I hear some, but I miss a lot, I can feel sometimes, mostly just Friday night meetings, but I can SMELL!  I have no trouble smelling in spirit realm or trusting my schnoz.  The nose knows man!  The biggest problem is always ruling out anything in the natural that I might be picking up on instead.

So I have a customer at my work that whenever I go to her door, which is everyday, I get hit by this rose smell.  It's winter time, so that's odd, and it can be storming and blowing or whatever and the smell is even more pronounced.  Months of this go by and I'm just enjoying the roses when I get there and kinda wondering but not really pressing into finding out what this is all about.  I was kinda looking around for a reasonable explanation, looking for porch potpourii (hey, you never know what people do) and I hadn't found anything.  So last week I said "Ok, God, what's with the roses?"  And I had a vision of Jesus standing at her door with roses waiting for her to let Him in.  My first thought was "Oh no, He's been out there a long time!"  Well duh, she's probably in her 50's, but it's different when you think of Him killing time up in heaven, vs. standing out in wind and rain and snow and hail.

So now I have some responsibility here because I was shown.  And I have very little dealing with this lady because I just drop her stuff off and run.  Sometimes I see her on the street and we say hi.  I think she's a seer because she looks at me like seers look at me and I wonder what she's seeing.  I figure she's a new ager, which is good, cause they do not think you're nuts for having visions, so the easiest way will be for me to come right out and tell her that Jesus has been hanging around her door for awhile and she might wanna let Him in.

So, I'm waiting for my opportunity.  A couple days go by, no opportunity.  I don't wanna just let this pass.  Then yesterday, she came down her driveway to talk to me.  I said "Hey, do you have something rose-scented by your door?"  She goes "What?" As if I am a crazy person, so I repeat the question.  She doesn't have any secret roses out there so I say, "Ok, then it was what I thought I saw then."  Oooo, she's hooked now!  She's leaning forward and asking me what it was!  So I explain the whole deal with my spiritual senses and the rose thing and then asking God what it was and then the vision and she is actually taking me seriously.  I get done telling and her eyes got really big and she starts to tell me what she saw!  She saw Jesus in a rainbow over her house.  So then we are acting like crazy people in the driveway yelling and hugging and jumping up and down.  So she's on Cloud 9 and I'm trying to figure out where I go from here.  I have a little better feel for where she's at.  She's cool with Jesus, but doesn't see Him as the one way, or realize her need for repentance.  So I think this will be a process and a to-be-continued story...

The Fragrance of Worship

I've been feeling this since the new year and I'm still trying to mesh what I sense and what I experience with what the Bible has to say.  I won't say I'm entirely right, but I will make some good points.

If you've been to a Friday night meeting with us in the last 6 months, you've experienced the supernatural "incense" that rises up during prayer time and invades the room.  Everybody's been trying to pinpoint it. "It's Frankincense, no it's Rose!"  I've been saying all along that it's a blend.  It's too complex to be any one thing.

I've been using essential oils for quite a few years now on a personal level, and also in business.  My nose is maybe not the most educated sniffer, but I bet I can give most of you a run for your money.  I can discern the real from the fake for one thing, and most of the annointing oils on the market are fake.  Lots of people don't know the difference because they haven't smelled the real deal and some, when they have, prefer the fake.  I could apply that statement to lots of people's spirituality as well.  Did you know that the nose is a prophetic symbol of discernment?  (Just a little side trip, I'll get back on course.)

Psalm 141:2 says "Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice."  I feel that each one of us, is putting out a different fragrance, and when we come together in united prayer, we make up the incense blend.  In our Friday night meets, it's always that very familiar scent, but when I go somewhere else, it's different.  Just as nice, but different.  During our New Years party, we got into praise and that familiar scent came in again and then it changed to something, almost peppery.  I attributed that to some new people in the group.

Exodus 30:34 tells how to make holy incense.  There was nothing random about it, just like there is nothing random about the people God puts in your life or how he brings us together in worship.  "The Lord said to Moses - Take fragrant spices - gum resin, onycha, and galbanum and pure frankincense all in equal amounts, and make a fragrant blend of incense, the work of a perfumer. It is to be salted, pure and holy."

Lets break it down.  "Equal amounts".  No one component is more important than another.  "Salted, pure and holy."  Who us?  Just kidding.  "The work of a perfumer"... In the perfumery world, when you are crafting a fragrance blend, you want to select scents that are a mix of top, middle and base notes.  The purpose of this is to create a new scent that captures attention, and lasts for a long time.  By blending correctly, the scents are more effective together than alone. Maybe this is why we are told that when 2 or 3 are gathered together in agreement, our prayer's will be answered.

The top note is the component of the blend that rises up and smacks you in the face first.  It's bright, efferfescent and soaring, but dissapates rapidly unless grounded by a base note.  Makes me think of highly revelatory people.  They have the fascinating stories of their spiritual experiences, very inspiring, enthralling, but not so practical.

The base note, on the other hand, is not so noticable, but endures steadily.  It's has the "hang time."  Lots of tree roots and barks are base notes.  I'll let you ponder that one one your own.  These people are logical, deep, more logos than rhema.  They tend to be serious students of the word.  Not too exciting, but they give the top and middle notes a foundation and help the top notes to last beyond the ablilty that they would have on their own.

Middle notes, as the name suggests are those in the middle. They do ok on their own, are fairly balanced, but benefit from being with base and top notes in order to go to new heights and depths.

The point of all this is of course, is that we need each other.  Don't despise people who are more or less revelatory or grounded than you.  If you are a base note, you'll never get off the ground without a top note, and if you're a top note, you'll fizzle out without your base.  A few weeks ago, I went to what might best be described as a Bible study gone wild, due to the number of top notes in the room, but we also had a base note, and for every crazy in-the-Spirit experience we threw out there, the base note could flip throught the Bible and find scripture to back us up.  Folks, that's how it's supposed to work.

Now this isn't to say that we don't work toward balance within ourselves.  Everybody needs to know their Bible and everybody needs to experience God's love and power for themselves.  Head knowledge doesn't cut it and pure revelation leaves you open to deception.

But we are who we are.  Some of us are more left-brained, love to study and being right-brained makes the revelatory stuff easier and neither is bad so we shouldn't villainize those who are different from us.  Hanging out with people who are different from you will help you expand.  We do need to come together.  We need to get outside our denominations and bring our particular fragrance into a mix in worship to God.

I know that there is much more to this supernatural smelling business than just what I wrote about here.  For one thing, Revelations talks about an angel that holds a bowl full of lit incense to mix with our prayers before they go up.  We know from Psalms that Christ's robe is perfumed with cassia, myrrh and aloes.  As I was writing this, I kept smelling sandalwood.  Not the most talked about Bible plant, but it's in there.  I think a lot of smelling also falls into the discerning of spirits category.  I'm still learning and figuring it all out.  That is our story.  Something odd happens, we get mystified and start digging.  About the time we understand, we're on to the next mystery, from glory to glory.

What Angels Are Up To

We had a great time last Friday.  We listened to a teaching on how to pick up on the presence of angels and know what they're doing when you can't see them. This was taught by someone who discerns spirits but he doesn't "see", he senses.  Basically, he said to know what the angels function is when you can't see, you look at the end result.  What happened as a result of that angel being there.  Duh.  We're back to "By their fruits you shall know them."

But that was a perfect lesson for us because we all sense angelic activity in our meetings but we don't see.  Mom has seen an angel there once.  Looked like a man,  didn't notice any wings, really tall.

So the lesson wrapped up and we got up and prayed for a bit and sat down in our chairs and the angels extended the lesson.  They kept doing different things, I believe, to see if we would pick up on it.  I think we must be very entertaining to them.  And I don't mean entertaining in the biblical way, I think they laugh at us - a lot.  Anyway, it was really fun, everyone stayed late, and I fell asleep in my chair.  We still don't really understand what they're doing or what kind they are, but I guess that's not something you really need to know.  We are just happy to have them around.  I know this post will freak some people out.  We don't worship angels.  But we don't pretend they don't exist either.  Angels are a good thing!  God is better.  Chill.

Awesome Health Care Option! Already Paid For! Isaiah 53:5

Healing Rooms now has a location in Kooskia!  Go here for the lowdown on when and where.  For those who don't know, Healing Rooms is a place where you can go if you're sick or hurt and get some hands on healing.  It works pretty much like a doctors office, you go in, are greeted by a receptionist who gives you paperwork that is kept on file and is completely confidential.  Then you go and sit in the reception area until they call you.  You then go to a private room where there is a team ready to pray for and prophesy to you. They are non-denominational and they don't care what you believe.  Pretty cool huh?  And if you don't live here, Healing Rooms is worldwide.  Go here to find one near you.

They also have books and art for sale.  I think I might go just to soak up that atmosphere and check out the book selection. Find em on Facebook.
